Born from Melbourne’s rich café culture and fuelled by years of bean-fuelled exploration, Drip Roast Coffee is all about bold flavour, fresh roasting, and a whole lot of heart.

From Late-Night Ideas to Solstice Magic

The idea for Drip sparked during a late-night conversation between friends, united by their obsession with great coffee. That moment turned into a mission: create something new, exciting, and deeply Melbourne.

And sometimes, the magic is accidental. One of Drip’s best-selling blends, Solstice, was the result of a minor roasting misstep that turned out to be majorly delicious. A happy accident? Absolutely. But it’s now a staple in mugs across the country.

No Shopfront, No Problem

As an online-only business, Drip faced the challenge of recreating the warmth and connection of a physical café—but digitally. “Coffee is about more than taste—it’s about community,” the team says. So they got creative. Through fun, bite-sized videos and blend spotlights, Drip built an online space where coffee lovers could geek out, connect, and stay caffeinated together.

Their proudest moment? Launch day. With a smooth website rollout, the first order, and the culmination of months of hustle, the team saw their dream come to life—with zero technical hiccups and a full pot of excitement.

Grounded in Ritual, Built on Diversity

Every week, the team comes together for a ritual tasting session—part quality control, part brainstorm, all heart. “It’s how we stay grounded in our craft,” they share, “and keep pushing for perfection.”
